Which personal data

This is limited to your e-mail address. Your address, telephone number, date of birth and other personal data are only requested if they are necessary for the provision of our services.
Via Google Analytics, your demographic data — such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, visit frequency, and specifications of the device and the functionalities used — are collected. This tool is utilised in order to keep track of how users make use of our website and how we can improve our website/platform.
Storage of personal data and other data
Our platform uses the Microsoft Azure cloud as well as its security options and audits. The data are hosted on special servers which are located in server parks located in Europe. In terms of storage environment, the Microsoft Azure cloud services in Amsterdam are used. This storage naturally takes place in a secure environment. For the storage of passwords, use is made of Microsoft.AspNet.Identity with PBKDF2.
To guarantee privacy, individual answers given while playing a game are only available for the proper completion of the game and to make adjustments during the game. After the game has concluded, individual data are not stored at an individual level. Therefore, answers cannot be traced to a personal level. Data are used to improve the game, but only after these data have been fully anonymised and made untraceable.
Retention
The Cue B.V. retains your (personal) data no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data are collected. Personal data which are no longer needed are deleted. The retention period is at least for the period in which you are registered as a user/customer and at most until the moment when you have explicitly submitted a request for modification or deletion of your data. We want to serve our (former and potential) users/customers in a manner which is as personal as possible.
