When you first log in to participate in a game or scan, you agree to this privacy statement, which means that you give the Cue (the Cue 21 b.v.) permission to collect some personal data. If you do not want to agree to this privacy statement, you must leave the platform or website. This website may contain links to other websites that are not operated or owned by The Cue (the Cue 21 b.v.). Purpose of processing personal data
Unless we have received your prior consent, we do not collect or use data for purposes other than those described in this privacy statement. Our goal in collecting your personal data is to enable the Cue (the Cue 21 b.v.) to properly perform our services. In order to make optimal use of our website or platform, you will have to provide some personal data.

What personal data
Personal data – your name, email address and telephone number – may be processed when you contact us via the contact form on our website. Your email address or telephone number is necessary to maintain contact.
Some personal data is also processed when you participate in one of our games or scans. The data we store is your email address and any data you upload yourself while using our games or scans. Your address, telephone number, date of birth and other personal data are only requested if they are necessary for the provision of our services.
Google Analytics may collect your demographic data such as IP address, frequency of visits and specifications of the device and the functionalities used. This tool is used to keep track of how users use our website and how we can improve our website.
Storage of personal and other data
Our platform uses the Microsoft Azure cloud and the security options and audits associated with it. The data is hosted on servers located in Europe (the Microsoft Azure cloud services in Amsterdam). Of course this storage takes place in a secure environment. Microsoft.AspNet.Identity is used for data storage with PBKDF2. To ensure privacy, individual responses provided during the use of a game or scan are only available for the completion of the game or scan and to make adjustments during the game or scan. After the game or scan ends, data is not stored at an individual level. As a result, answers can never be traced back to a person. Data is used to improve the game or scan, but only after this data has been completely anonymized.
Retention
The Cue (the Cue 21 b.v.) does not store your (personal) data any longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected. We have a maximum retention period of 6 months. Personal data that is no longer needed will be deleted. The retention period applies in any case for the period in which you are registered as a user/customer and at most until the moment at which you have explicitly submitted a request for modification or deletion of your data. We want to serve our (former and potential) users/customers in the most personal way possible. To do this, we believe it is important to provide them with relevant information about our services. Providing clear customer service is an essential part of our business concept.
Sharing personal data with third parties
The Cue (the Cue 21 b.v.) will never share your personal data with third parties, unless this is necessary for the execution of an agreement and/or to comply with an applicable legal obligation. To ensure a good level of security so that your personal data remains confidential, we enter into a processing agreement with companies and institutions that process your personal data on our behalf.
